勉強会のお仲間（大学教員が3名いらっしゃいます）や翻訳仲間と話していて、皆さんに共通している「誤解」として痛感したこと。
DeepLをはじめとする「機械翻訳ツール」を、原文を入力したら翻訳が出力される、一往復限りの機械翻訳ツールとしてとらえている、ということ。
ChatGPTを使う翻訳は、それとはまったく違うと僕は思います。
最初のアウトプット（翻訳案：ここまではDeepLと同じ。その精度には議論があるでしょう）を出発点に、ChatGPTとの対話を通じて訳文を完成させていく
というのが翻訳ツールを利用したこれからの翻訳アプローチのあり方だと思う。
In discussions with my study group members, which include three university faculty, and fellow translators, I've come to realize a common 'misconception'. It's the perception of 'machine translation tools', like DeepL, as one-time, input-output translation devices.
I believe that translation using ChatGPT is entirely different.
It starts with an initial output (a translation draft, similar to what DeepL provides - and there may be debates about its accuracy). However, the process then evolves through an interactive dialogue with ChatGPT, leading to the refinement and completion of the translation.
This, I believe, is the future approach to translation utilizing such tools
